City of Corvallis – 2014-15 Sewer Rehabilitation

The work consists of pipe bursting approximately 600 linear feet of 6-inch, 2,100 linear feet of 8-inch and 60 linear feet of 12-inch sanitary sewer pipe through existing sewers and replacement with 6-inch, 8-inch, 10-inch and 12-inch HDPE pipe, locating, excavating, video inspecting, rerouting and/or reconnecting sewer service laterals, removing/replacing sanitary sewer manholes, rehabilitating manholes, removal and replacement of driveways, sidewalks, curb, curb and gutter, street sections, constructing, required appurtenances and other work as shown on the plans.

Unusual Factors
The project was complicated by the fact that the sanitary sewer mains run directly underneath the back lot lines of the residential properties. Our crews undertook extraordinary efforts to minimize the disturbance to residences properties and at the end of the project received zero complaints from the homeowners.
