City of Portland – Forest Park Low Tank – Utility Extension

Work performed under this contract consisted of furnishing all services, materials, equipment and labor necessary for the construction of a fully buried 1.3 million gallon (MG) pre-stressed concrete reservoir and associated appurtenances at the Portland Water Bureau (PWB) property located northeast of the intersection of NW Skyline Boulevard and NW Hawkins Boulevard in NW Portland. The project included the installation of approximately 750 lineal feet (LF) of 16-inch diameter ductile iron (DI) waterline, approximately 100 LF of 24-inch diameter DI waterline, 15-inch diameter to 6-inch diameter storm and sanitary sewer piping, a precast concrete reservoir overflow detention facility, storm water control and detention facilities, instrumentation and control system improvements, and grading and landscaping improvements, complete in all respects, in accordance with the plans and specifications. Additionally, the project included the design and installation of temporary construction shoring systems to facilitate the construction of the reservoir and site piping. The work performed under this contract also consisted of furnishing all services, materials, equipment and labor necessary for the construction of a pump & valve house and associated appurtenances at the same PWB property, including valve vault and piping including 16-inch and 24-inch diameter DI pipe, chlorination facilities, water quality monitoring systems, instrumentation and control system improvements, and grading and landscaping improvements, complete in all respects, in accordance with the plans and specification.
