Our History

A Tradition of Excellence

Emery & Sons Construction, Inc. was founded in 1967 by L. Dale Emery and his two sons.  The company spent the first several years doing minor curbs and concrete flatwork in the Stayton, Oregon area.  Over time, the need for more equipment and personnel became ever apparent.  This allowed Emery & Sons Construction to enter into other larger markets from subdivisions to small underground projects and eventually larger private and public infrastructure improvement projects throughout the Pacific Northwest.

In 2014 the next chapter of Emery & Sons Construction began with the formation of Emery & Sons Construction Group.   Emery & Sons Construction Group was formed to transition ownership of Emery & Sons Construction to the next generation of company leaders to assure growth and sustainability for years to come.  Emery & Sons Construction Group will continue to “raise the bar” on the long standing principles of quality, integrity, and a commitment to our clients to deliver the best projects possible.

Emery & Sons Construction Group is an industry leader in heavy civil construction projects of all scopes and sizes.  From industrial site development, large diameter pipelines, pump stations and treatment plants to water reservoirs, transportation, environmental and pipeline rehabilitation projects, we have earned an outstanding reputation for exceeding our customers’ expectations every time and delivering successful projects from start to finish.

A complete commitment to serve our clients has helped build Emery & Sons Construction Group into one of the most versatile contractors in the industry.  We are defined by our people who consistently demonstrate uncompromised integrity, honesty, accountability and professionalism as well as wealth of project experience in all markets we serve.
