Trenchless Construction
City of Corvallis – 2014-15, 2015-16, 2017-18, 2018-19 Sewer Rehabilitation Projects
Over the course of four projects, Emery & Sons has successfully pipe burst 12,268 LF of pipe ranging from 6” – 16” in size. These projects presented many challenges, including working in resident’s back yards to reconnect their sewer services, to working within tight alley ways while maintaining accesses to existing businesses. Every project was finished on-time and without incident.
City of McMinnville – Cook School Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation
Construction of 11,000 LF of sanitary and storm piping utilizing pipe bursting, CIPP, and open cut methods. Work also included installation of new manholes, service lines, traffic control, testing, bypass pumping, catch basins, repair or replacement of existing curb and sidewalk, and curb ramp reconstruction.
City of Portland – Hollywood-Grant Park Sewer Rehabilitation Project
Portland sewer rehab project with over 16,000 LF of clay pipe, 18,000 LF of CIPP, 1,200 LF of Pipe Bursting, and over 100 each spot repairs in the Hollywood district of Portland.
McMinnville Water & Light – 2nd Finished Water Tunnel Project
Emery & Sons entered into a contract with McMinnville Water & Light to install a 36in Welded Steel Waterline via Horizontal Directional Drill. This project presented many challenges. One of which was location. The facility that we tied onto is located in the Coastal Range outside of the City of McMinnville. Heavily wooded and steep terrain made it a challenge when it came to staging the 2,200 LF of 36in Welded Steel pipe required for the directional drill operation. Through careful planning and constant coordination with the Owner, we successfully completed the project.
